The end of summer also inevitably means the end of summer harvests. Yesterday we took out the last of the spuds (many more than shown), a couple of baby courgettes, the final tomatoes and a surprisingly hefty bunch of beetroot, all of which will either become part of some lovely September dinners in the next few days, or frozen/ stored for later use.
