For my Halloween party last Monday, I also made these delicious almond-stuffed, bacon-wrapped dates. Partly because they look a bit like mummy fingers, but mainly because they’re one of the most scrumptious party snacks around.
Ingredients:
thin rashers of streaky bacon (Organic)
soft dried dates
smoked almonds
- Heat the oven to 185 degrees.
- Cut each date open lengthwise, remove the stone and replace with an almond.
- Wrap each date in half a rasher of bacon.
- Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 15 minutes until the bacon is nice and crispy.
