After being home for only two weeks, we went off to our next adventure: WWOOFing. Without boring you with all the details of this epic journey into the world of organic farming and sustainable living, I thought I’d give you a little sneak peek. Since Monday last week, we have been staying at a house in the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park in Wales. Our hosts are lovely, the house is lovely and there is plenty of work to do in the garden!
The polytunnel, for instance, needs to be weeded so that all those delicious organic veggies have room to grow. As you can see I’m appropriately dressed in wellies and gardening gloves in the colour “groovy green.” Those weeds don’t stand a chance.
Outside, Β I planted an entire bed of little plants, which will grow up to become delicious green peas. Sadly, I won’t be here to taste them.
I will be WWOOFing in the UK until the 23rd of May so stay tuned for more updates, recipes and other WWOOF-related posts!
